“It is officially known as the Berardo Museum in Estremoz. It is the result of a partnership between the Berardo Collection and Estremoz Town Council. The museum holds what is the largest and most important private collection of azulejos in Portugal and one of the largest in the world, representing over 800 years of azulejo history.
The museum also stands out for its unique concept, which combines culture with the region’s wine-making industry. The entrance ticket includes a tasting of local wines in the museum shop.”
